FAQ's

Q1: Is a deposit required to secure the booking?

A1: To secure your date, a no refundable deposit of £200.00 is required with the remaining balance being paid 8 weeks before the wedding. Once the deposit is paid we email your deposit paid invoice and contract with all the T&C’S which you sign and return back to us.
We also have an initial meeting and consultation before the wedding, and on the run-up to the day.
 
The non-refundable deposit for the Video & Photo Packages is £400.00 (£200.00 to each supplier) 
Each supplier will provide you with their own Invoices, Contract and T&C's. 
 
Q2: What time do you arrive on the morning of the wedding?

A2: This will be discussed at the consultation, but unless we are doing morning prep, we normally arrive at least 45 minutes before the ceremony so that we can set up and get external and internal shots of the ceremony venue.
 
Q3: How discreet are you on the day?

A3: We are exceptionally discreet when filming; this is what we pride ourselves on. We film in a relaxed natural style.
Although we do also like to pose our own shots different from the photographer and which work better on the final video. This is at your own discretion and also depending on timings on the day. 
 
Q4: How long is the wedding presentation video and do we get to choose the music?

A4: The wedding film varies depending on the length of ceremony and speeches, but normally the fully edited version lasts between 1.5 hours and 4 hours in length, depending on length of Ceremony, speeches and if Morning Prep or Video Messages are included in Package.
Highlight sneak peaks are around 5 minutes in length.
You choose 10 to 12 songs for the film which we use in throughout the production, excluding the ceremony, speeches and evening dances.
 
Q5: When will we receive our Wedding film?
A5: Depending on the time of year (taking in to account the busy periods) our turnaround time is anywhere from 4-15+ weeks.
It can take 2-3 weeks to edit your wedding, but we have a queue of wedding films that we are working on.
Your wedding presentation will also be available online with your own secure password so you can share it with your family & friends. You will also receive your edited wedding film on a specially selected Love Heart USB which will be posted to your home or work address. 
We also offer extra USB’s and also DVD’S  at an additional cost.
PLEASE NOTE That due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic and weddings being moved, the turnaround time may exceed the above as we are filming more weddings a year than normal, but we will discuss this with you at the time of filming and keep you updated with the editing and estimated timescale. 
 
Q6: Which Videographer will be filming on the day.
 
A6: Derek & Maureen will oversee most filming, but due to the popularity of our services and the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, we are having to take on more weddings in one day to cover all weddings that have been postponed due to the pandemic, so we will let you know in advance the videographer(s) that will be capturing your special day.
All our videographers are highly experienced and professional and will film your wedding day to the highest of standards.

Q7: What is the advantage of two videographers rather than one?

A7: Your day will be captured from multiple angles with multiple cameras to ensure the best possible coverage, especially during the ceremony, speeches and evening reception. With two videographers, one can be filming the Bridal party arriving whilst the second videographer is filming their fiancé and guests. After the ceremony, one videographer will cover the photo-shoot whilst the other will be filming the guests mingling and any daytime entertainment provided and internal dining room shots. 
A second videographer is available at a extra cost of £250.00 unless part of a Limited Special Offer advertised by Ultimate Moments Videography. 
Q8: What cameras do you use on the day?
A8: We use a range of highly professional HD video cameras and DSLR cameras, with a minimum of two cameras being used throughout the day (ceremony, speeches and dancing) depending on the size of the wedding and the size of Church or Hotel.
Q9: Do you offer a Livestream Service.
A9: No unfortunately this is not something that we offer. We can however recommend other companies that we have worked alongside on weddings recently. 
 
Q10: Is there a charge for Travel 
 
A10: Rather than base ourselves in one area, we do travel all over Scotland to capture your special day
We only charge a Petrol fee if the Wedding venue is out with a specific area. We may also ask to be provided with an overnight stay at a local B&B or Hotel if we have Travelled a significant distance. 
The fee will be discussed on initial enquiry or booking. 

Q11: Do you have insurance?
A11: We have professional business insurance including public liability, professional indemnity & equipment cover.

Q12:  How do we go about booking the Drone service?
A12: For full details on Drone Services then please view our Other Services for full information on the Drone Company we recommend and how to contact them. 
The Drone service can be limited though depending on locations and the weather on the day, but full T&C’s would be available from the drone company recommended.
